Choose a villa when shared living space and time together are central to the trip; consider a hotel when separate rooms, independent bookings or different schedules matter more. Neither is automatically better value. Your Village Stay helps families and friends compare accommodation against their actual budget, sleeping needs, location and supplier terms.

Compare costs on the same basis
Build a total for the same dates and traveler count. Include accommodation, disclosed fees and taxes, food plans, transportation and any services the group expects to use. For a villa, do not assume cleaning or a chef is included. For a resort, do not assume every activity or meal is included.
Divide costs only after agreeing on the allocation. An equal split may not suit households using different room sizes or staying different numbers of nights.

Does a larger property always work better for groups?
No. A higher advertised capacity may include sofa beds or shared sleeping areas that do not match your group’s expectations. Ask about the actual room layout, bathrooms, access and gathering space.
Can you confirm accessibility or child-safety details?
Tell me the specific requirements so they can be checked with the property. Broad descriptions such as family-friendly or accessible are not substitutes for confirming the features your travelers need.
